Ditto for /any/ programs that like to fsck up my terminal. If I were going around cat'ing random binaries, I can see that there would be a problem. But "find . -print0 | xargs -0 nvi" should work. And, after it fails anyway, it should put the terminal back the way it found it. Not the way it found it... but ESC now doesn't work, and my arrow keys have been shat on. Not the way it found it... but there's a scrolling window at the bottom with no contents. Not the way it found it... but my flow control has been turned off (or on). No. The way it found it. If you're going to rape my terminal, at least ask its name, so it isn't damaged for life. Get to know it a little better. Put it back the way you found it. It's the little things in life. Thank you.
